Oh wow, really? Were there bad incidents that caused this? Or is it about privacy concerns? Hopefully they don’t outlaw fishing poles and picture taking! :wink:

Drones are prohibited in Sweden
Box dragon and Zeppelins on string are still allowed
fishing poles above 10 meter are difficult to handle :theta_s:

Just a quick followup. I had a great time attending. Final winners announced here.

It was really inspiring, specific to drones and both to filmmaking. I would really love to try and do some film work. If I had the time!

Hello humans! It’s been 4 months since the Flying Robot international Film Festival took place in San Francisco. If you missed that epic night, you can relive the glory of FRiFF, or discover it for the first time this weekend. Hope to see some of you there!

March 18, 2017, 7pm
Luminary @ The Midway, San Francisco

A special encore screening of the Flying Robot international Film Festival will take place as part of Luminary - Art : Tech : Music. If you missed the premiere screening last November, this is your chance to catch the festival program alongside some incredible interactive art, tech and music. There will be drones!

March 22, 2017, 7pm
Roxie Theater, San Francisco
The short film “The Making of Expedition Alaska” by Brian Leitten [USA] was an official selection in the Student Film category screened at FRiFF 2016. Now the full documentary “Expedition Alaska” is coming to the Roxie later this month. Hope to see some Flying Robot fans in attendance!

A note from Brian:
“We are also doing a little promotion to drive online ticket sales.
