Why is it so difficult to engage directly with Ricoh/Pentax?

I have never come across company that has such non existent presence when it comes to a product that they build - especially one that has an API. TBH it is making me question whether I should open the camera when I get it use this camera or just return it unopened.

Did I just miss the way to engage with them directly or are they truly offline.

If you intend to use the API, the community here has some experience. Feel free to ask your questions here. We’re not so experienced with the official SDK, but are using the API and image filters in different ways. Would be nice to get some more people involved in using the API.
