Disruptive technology has always been a key area of focus throughout my career.

For eight years, I worked as a research scientist for FM Global—a mutual insurance company whose capital, scientific research capability and engineering expertise are solely dedicated to property risk management and the resilience of our client-owners. During this time, I established the company’s Advanced Technology Laboratory in Norwood (Massachusetts, USA), and demonstrated augmented reality, virtual reality, drone technology and rapid prototyping.

I continue to incorporate disruptive technology into my role today, as a member of FM Global’s innovation team. As vice president, innovation science and technology, I am responsible for developing new opportunities and feeding them into FM Global’s innovation system to guide the strategic planning efforts of the company and our mutual members.
