Does anyone knows if the “higher” aperture 3.5 or 5.6 is a real mechanical or is it just a software nd Filter? So does a higher aperture results in higher sharpness and better depth of field?
Thanks again!

It’s a true mechanical aperture. You can hear it and even see it if you look close enough.
(BTW: There is no such thing as a software ND filter.)
Yes - at least in theory
I have taken some test images in order to analyze how significant the effect actually is.
Stay tuned until I found some time to prepare and present my findings …
Thanks a lot again!
Interesting that there is no software which “reduce” the incoming light. I thought this could be helpful sometimes.
So i am wating curiously for your findings
