SC2 instead of V for USB mode 4K livestreaming

In this tutorial, RICOH THETA360.guide Independent developer community, can SC2 be used instead of V to get a 4k livestream in openCV or ROS?

No, it can’t be. See the post below. I merged your two other topics into this one topic.

Can SC2 be used instead of V in the following tutorial: RICOH THETA360.guide Independent developer community? SC2 seems to provide the same specs as V at a cheaper cost. Thank you!

Thank you for your reply. Can the version SC2 be used in the same way version V is used in this post RICOH THETA360.guide Independent developer community?

The SC2 cannot stream over the USB cable and in general is not suitable for live streaming. If you are on a tight budget, look for a V online, even a used one. make sure it works. The Z1 has better heat management than the V for 4K video streaming over USB. However, the V will still work if you manage the heat. If sound is not a problem, you can blow a household fan on it. You can also get raspberry pi heatsink stickers and put them on the body of the V.

The S is at 2K, but because the output is dual-fisheye and in motionjpeg, it is still used for ROS projects.
