Open sourcing our 360 video library for iOS

For the last ricoh theta meetup in SF I open sourced the library we’ve been building at Pie to display 360 video on iOS with very flexible control over the rendering. I’ve just written a bit about it so that it’s hopefully more accessible!

Here the post: https://medium.com/pie360/open-sourcing-our-360-video-library-for-ios-dddkit-bf7da3d192e1

Let me know your thoughts and if that’s helpful to you!

Just received this message from @gsabran about recent Pie video (iOS 360 video and GIFs app) updates:

Since last time we talked, we’ve added AR filters, localization and a number of performance improvements. We’ve also put some work in DDDKit that I talked about at the meetup so that you can use it to record the filters to a new file, and do it with a live input.
