Can I use Theta Z1 while charging with Power Bank?

Hello,

I’m a new member, I received Ricoh Theta Z1 today.
I maked some tests to be sure that everything is ok. Then I noticed that the battery was going away very fast and I realized that I wouldn’t be able to perform a day of virtual tour with one full charge.

So I would like to know if I can use Theta Z1 while charging it with a Power Bank.
I searched all over the internet but I wasn’t able to find clearly if it’s possible.

I’m connected to Theta Z1 wirelessly by using my iphone with wifi.

I’ll appreciate your help as if it’s possible I’ll need to buy a power bank as soon as possible to be able to work.

Many people use it with powerbanks.

great news. RICOH recommends the official RICOH cable, but I do not know where to buy them from. I tested the Ankder USB C Cable. It worked in my tests. Keep in mind that I don’t work for RICOH, so this is not official information. Get the shortest length that will work for your charging setup. I know other people that are using the same cable. Most will work, but you can also get the ones tested by RICOH.
