Is there any way of disabling Rioch Theta wifi. I need to use the camera where wifi is prohibited so I want to be able to disable it completely. Would be thankful for any hints.

Of course you can!! on the Theta V and S simply by pressing the middle button, you connect and disconnect the wifi when you want.
That way the camera consumes much less.

With plugin there is broadcast intent to control WiFi. In the plugin library there is helper method for this: notificationWlanOff
