AE Bracket w/ RICOH360 app and THETA Z1

@maru1 I just connected to my Z1 using the RICOH360 app on my iPhone 12. AE Bracket is one of the Shooting Method options.

Please note, I also connected to my X to see if there was a difference. AE Bracket does not show as an option when connected to an X.

For Z1, here’s what it looks like looking at the Image Shoot Method settings in the RICOH360 app on my iPhone 12:

There are multiple options for setting up AE Bracket:

  • Step (Exposure Interval)
  • Number of Shots
  • Shooting Order
  • ISO Adjustment
  • Self Timer
  • File Format

Step (Exposure Interval)

  • Can be set to 0.0, 0.3, 0.7, 1.0, 1.3, 1.7, 2.0, 2.3, 2.7 or 3.0

Number of Shots

  • Can be set as 3, 5, 7 or 9 shots

Shooting Order

  • zero to negative to plus
  • negative to zero to plus

ISO Adjustment

Default is OFF. It has some help text that indicates when turned on, the ISO sensitivity is adjusted when the maximum exposure time is reached.

Self Timer

OFF or delay the beginning of shooting for 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10 secs

File Format

  • JPEG
  • RAW (DNG)

For comparison with X

Here’s what the Image Shoot Method settings screen looks like when connected to an X. No AE Bracket option shown.
