New Theta Z1 User - Need Help with Stitching Videos from Two Cameras

Hi everyone! :waving_hand:

I’m a very new user of the Ricoh Theta Z1. I recently bought two Z1 cameras for my research project, where I need to record videos using both cameras and then stitch them together for analysis.

I came across Adobe Lightroom as a solution, but it seems to be more focused on photo editing and stitching — and it’s also a paid tool. Since I’m working mainly with video, I’m not sure if this is the right path.

Can anyone please guide me on

  • How to start with stitching videos from two Theta Z1 cameras?
  • Any free software options for video stitching?
  • Any tips or workflow ideas for syncing and processing dual-camera footage?

I’d really appreciate any help or suggestions you can share!

I have not used it for video, but I have heard people use the open source hugin for video.

There’s likely easier solutions out there.

Just so you know, the camera can be set to stitch the video internally.

RICOH has a free desktop app that can stitch the video.
