Ricoh Theta SC2 turns off when connected to phone

I encountered an issue with my new Ricoh Theta SC2. I just took it out of the box and after connecting to phone to take a photo, the camera turns itselft off. And it’s not only when it’s just connected to the phone - I can have it connected, see how much battery is left, how many photos I can take and so on, but as soon as I click “Capture” it turns off, I lose connection and that’s it. I have newest firmware so no need for updating, I have newest android, I have enough battery… What can cause the issue?

If you can’t upgrade the camera firmware with the mobile app, try upgrade the firmware with the desktop app.

I didn’t say I can’t upgrade because of the mobile app. I can’t upgrade because there’s nothing to upgrade. I’m up to date with the newest version. That’s not the issue.

Suggest you contact official RICOH customer support. This is a community forum for developers and thus we don’t have a lot of end user information. The Facebook groups could also be helpful
