I am currently running a theta z1 using a raspberry pi and a python script, after a few days the script seems to stop running is this a problem with the theta being in API to long or is this a problem with long-term scripts?

I have not heard of any long-term problems. Are you using the USB API or the Wi-Fi API?
Is the firmware updated?
Is there an error message on the camera?

Hi, I haven’t heard of this problem before. I don’t work for RICOH. You may want to contact RICOH for information on the camera behavior. Sorry I can’t be of more help.
