One of the Theta V’s design quirks is that it remains on after it is removed from being charged. If you have the foam sheathe on the unit you will not be aware of this. So this happened to me yesterday: I drove an hour to a location to do a virtual tour. Prior to that I had the Theta plugged in so that I would be sure of it being ready to go. I had always have the sheathe on to protect the lens so when I unplugged it from charging the unit remained on but I wasn’t aware of it. And it was on all through my drive to the location and all through the Still Photography photo shoot and the Drone Photography portion. When I finally grabbed the Theta for its part, the battery had run dry. It was very embarrassing for me to the real estate agent!
