Windows 10 Ricoh Basic App plugin transfer


I’m having an issue where the basic app is installed on my Windows 10 machine, and plugins are not installed. When I click install from the web page (tried multiple plugins, and multiple browsers), the app is being focused on windows like it should be receiving something, but nothing happens. No prompts come up on the app, and the plugin is nowhere to be found in the plugin management window. Wondering if anyone else has run into this?

Ideas to resolve

  • uninstall desktop app and then reinstall
  • reboot computer
  • check USB cable
  • turn off camera and then reconnect to USB cable
