I do not know what the problem is.
What I would try in sequence with a test after each step:
Uninstall the mobile app and reinstall the mobile app from the Google Play store.
Try it without Airplane mode turned on.
Disable bluetooth manually on phone.
Disable battery saver mode.
Reboot Z1. - Press and hold the power button for 12 seconds.
Reset Wi-Fi - I think it is press and hold Wi-Fi button for 12 seconds while the camera is on
Disable mobile data on phone temporarily - leave bluetooth and battery saver off as well for the test
Reset all settings on the Z1.
I don’t think there is an easy way to do this, so you may need to use some type of testing tool.
