Z1 Static Stiching

Hi all,

Do you know where I can find Z1’s calibration parameters that my camera uses for stitching? I’d like to be able to stitch my photos off camera and without using an app.

Thanks

The lens parameter information is not disclosed. You must calibrate each camera manually using stitch points.

See the mobile app below.

Hi Craig,

Many thanks for the update. Do you know if all cameras of the same model use the same parameters or if they are calibrated individually?

It’s so frustrating that I can’t get the parameters for my camera when that should be part of the manufacturer’s specifications.

Do you think it’s worth reaching out to Ricoh’s customer service?

Many thanks,

Ioannis

The cameras need to be calibrated individually for perfect stitching.

Without calibration, there may be a small difference in the edge stitch.

Once you calibrate one camera, you can save the calibration in the app, so you don’t have to calibrate the camera for every shoot.

If there is high sales potential for RICOH, I think you should try and contact customer service or a RICOH sales rep. They may be able to help.
